the reticent of a mermaid singing
like I knew what she meant
sliding though the dungeons of my heroine –
your subtle movements make me sweat –
make me smile
in the sunset of the moment
we find each other in
never finding judgment
in the reasons why
beauty in the middle of
my porcelain skin
where I find the spirit
reaching, sliding
flowing
down my legs
with the pounding heartbeat
singing through my veins
somehow it sees the way
to be seen
in the doo wop
