Pretty Woman…
Not real sure how to fit in to the role of the societal woman
Arraigned and aligned as the judgment rules
I’m a woman and I must sit and swoon
Thank you my dear
Thank you my friend
Smile pretty and be the well woman
You know the kind
You find
In the mist of the end
Where a clan of men will sit
And stare the white off of the wall
When it can stand on its own
Three feet
And critique its way right
Back to the world(ly)
kind
But we aren’t speaking in societal terms
We are speaking
From the Tex(ass) winnings
In the retrospect(s)
Of it and the beginning(s)….
